Integrations
Integrations let you bring your own third-party accounts into ALIGN, so the platform can use external services on your behalf: basemap providers, data services and, over time, the tools you already work with.
How it works
Section titled “How it works”You connect an account once by adding its key in your ALIGN settings. From then on, that service is available inside the builders, without pasting the key again for every map or layer.
Your keys stay yours
Section titled “Your keys stay yours”A connected credential is a secret, and ALIGN treats it as one:
- It is stored securely on ALIGN’s side, never in the browser and never in your project files.
- It is never written into a saved map, an exported file, or a shared link. A map you publish or hand to someone else carries no key.
- It is scoped to what the feature needs, nothing more.
This is a hard rule of the platform, not a setting you have to remember to turn on.
What you can connect
Section titled “What you can connect”The first integrations cover basemap providers, so your own tiles and styles are available directly in the Map Builder.
Broader connectors are on the roadmap: data warehouses and databases, source control, and other GIS platforms, so ALIGN plugs into the stack you already use.
