Layer swipe

A swipe handle that compares two sets of layers side by side — before/after imagery, two scenarios, a themed layer against the basemap. You configure the comparison; end-users drag the handle.

Parameter What it does
Swipe enabled Whether the comparison starts engaged when the map opens.
Orientation Vertical (left/right) or horizontal (top/bottom).
Initial handle position Where the divider starts, as a percentage.
Left/Right layers Which layers (and/or the basemap) show on each side.
End-users can change orientation Exposed: the widget button opens a small panel with the swipe toggle and the orientation choice. Not exposed: the button simply toggles your preconfigured swipe.
Position The map corner the widget lives in.

A swipe button in the corner you picked. If you exposed the orientation, the button opens a small panel; otherwise it directly toggles the swipe you preconfigured. Dragging the divider is always available while the swipe is engaged, and stays local to their session.
