Give the end-users of your published map a print composer: they frame the map, pick a paper size and orientation, toggle the layout elements you allowed — title, legend, scale bar, north arrow, date, footer — and export the result as a PNG image or a PDF document, rendered right in their browser.
The composer is the same one you use from the Map builder header; the widget opens it bounded by your settings.
Parameters
Section titled “Parameters”| Parameter | What it does |
|---|---|
| Paper sizes | The page and screen sizes offered (A4, A3, Letter, Full HD…), and the default one the composer opens on. |
| Orientation | Portrait, landscape or both, with the default. |
| Exports | The output channels offered: PNG image, PDF document, copy to clipboard. |
| Layout elements | The elements end-users may include on the print. An unchecked element is simply absent from their composer. |
| Attribution | Your organization name on the print. It replaces the “Created with ALIGN” mark when your plan includes branding removal; otherwise both show. |
| Position | The map corner the print button lives in. |
What end-users see
Section titled “What end-users see”A printer button in the corner you picked. It opens the print composer with your defaults: a live preview of the composed page, the sizes and elements you allowed, and the export buttons you offered. Exports are generated on their device — nothing is uploaded.
